The Earth Shoe ripped up the world in 1971 and by the end of the decade? Collapsed under the weight of its own success. And now born again? All this drama for a shoe? Oh yes.

 

It’s Carrie Bradshaw’s dream come true: an entire museum exhibit dedicated to shoes. And not just any shoes, but stilettos, platforms and all kinds of sky-high, fabulous footwear. Opening Wednesday…
